Proof of payment of the registration fee (Zelle receipt or check image) must be uploaded PRIOR to clicking SUBMIT.

Students are encouraged to apply early, starting November 1, 2025 as space is limited to 250 participants.

There are no refunds after application is received and processed.

Applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis determined by when
they submit the online part of their application. Additional compliant applications will be placed on a waiting list.

CONCERTO AND MAZURKA DIVISIONS ARE VIDEO FORMAT ONLY! NO LIVE COMPETITION. VIDEO JUDGING ONLY.

Online Concerto Division Video Submission Ends   January 15, 2026 (If you are applying for Concerto Division, you will receive an email with uploading instructions)
Online Mazurka Division Video Submission Ends   January 15, 2026 (If you are applying for Mazurka Division, you will receive an email with uploading instructions)
In-Person Competition Date: Saturday, Feb 14, 2026, 9 am to 6 pm - Mercer Island Presbyterian Church
Gold Medalists' Concert   Sunday, Feb 15, 2026, 1:30pm and 3:00pm - St. Lukes Church, Bellevue

Be sure to read and understand the following 2026 NW Chopin Festival Rules. before you begin:

Please have the following information available before starting the online application process:

  • Complete repertoire information with opus number and performance duration
  • Permission from your piano teacher (for students under 18)
  • Contact information for the participant and his/her teacher: names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses

Your application will not be complete until you:

  • Click the "Submit Application" button after filling out the next page
